Financial Controller, CPA/CMA (Based in Libya, Requires Relocation)

On behalf of our client, a leading construction and infrastructure organization, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, project cost control, and financial governance. The role requires strong financial expertise and a professional qualification such as CPA or CMA to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and sound financial decision-making.

Job Responsibilities Will Include

• Oversee financial controlling, accounting, and reporting activities across projects and business operations.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and financial performance, identifying variances and potential risks.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business and project objectives.
• Prepare and analyse financial and management reports, providing insights into project profitability and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, financial policies, and statutory requirements while supporting audits and management decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications Required

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or CMA qualification.
• Must have 8–12 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, finance management, or project finance, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, project cost control, financial analysis, and internal controls.
