Position: Techno-Functional Business Analyst

Job Summary

Looking for a CA-qualified Techno-Functional Business Analyst with experience in the Fund Industry. The candidate should have a good understanding of fund accounting, NAV, financial reporting, and investment operations, along with strong Business Analysis and technology skills.

The role will involve working between business, finance, operations, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver system/process solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Understand end-to-end fund accounting and investment processes.
• Work closely with developers, QA, product, and business teams.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Define business rules, workflows, validations, and acceptance criteria.
• Support UAT, test cases, defect tracking, and implementation.
• Analyze data and investigate reconciliation or system-related issues.
• Support system enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for requirement clarification and solution delivery.
• Support production issues, releases, and post-implementation activities.

• SDLC / Agile
• MS Excel
• SQL knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with fund accounting platforms such as Geneva, Investran, eFront, Allvue, Yardi, Advent, or similar is an advantage.
