Financial Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models that reflect the hospital’s operational goals and objectives.
• Monitoring actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to management.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to gather and validate budget inputs.
• Develop financial models to project future performance and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights based on variances from the budget.
• Support the development and maintenance of financial planning tools and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
• Participate in periodic financial reviews, presenting findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• MBA/CA(Inter)/ICWA
• 5-8 years into Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Proficient in Financial Modelling and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings.
