Role Description The Financial Advisor role is a full-time hybrid position based in Shimoga, with some flexibility for work from home. The advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, analyze their current financial situations, and develop tailored financial plans. Daily tasks include advising on investments, savings strategies, retirement planning, and risk management, as well as reviewing portfolios and making recommendations aligned with clients’ objectives. The role involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate client records, and staying current with financial products, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The advisor will also collaborate with internal teams, participate in client outreach activities, and ensure a high level of ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and create customized financial strategies.
• Solid understanding of Finance and Investments to evaluate products, manage portfolios, and explain options clearly to clients.
• Knowledge of Retirement Planning to guide clients on long-term savings, income planning, and risk mitigation for their future.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, present complex information in simple terms, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Analytical and quantitative abilities, with attention to detail and proficiency in using financial tools or software.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (such as CFP or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in financial services, banking, or advisory roles is preferred but not strictly required for strong entry-level candidates.
