Finance Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Finance Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, taxation, banking, reconciliations, month-end closing, and audit support. The role will work closely with the Finance Manager and international finance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle vendor invoices, expense claims, AP ageing, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
• Manage premium, debit/credit note booking, AR ageing, and follow-ups with cedants and brokers.
• Handle TDS, GST, advance tax payments, and support related returns and reconciliations.
• Manage USD/INR banking, payment processing, FX transactions, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, GL reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Maintain fixed asset and intercompany records and support management reporting.
• Support payroll-related payments, reimbursements, and administrative expenses.
• Coordinate for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Support SEZ/IFSC compliance and cross-border documentation such as 15CA/15CB, TRC, Form 10F, and No-PE declarations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in AP/AR, taxation, banking, and reconciliations.
• Good knowledge of Indian GST and TDS.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
• Good communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.

PREFERRED

• Insurance / Reinsurance / Financial Services experience.
• Exposure to GIFT City / IFSC / SEZ.
• Experience with cross-border transactions.
• MBA, M.Com, or CA Inter qualification highly preferred.
