Finance Manager

Role Description The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Howrah, responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and control activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and monitoring cash flow and working capital. The role involves supervising accounting operations, ensuring timely reconciliations, overseeing payroll and vendor payments, and maintaining compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements. The Finance Manager will analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership, support internal and external audits, and implement policies that strengthen internal controls. This role collaborates closely with other departments to develop cost-effective strategies, supports strategic initiatives with financial analysis, and helps maintain accurate documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation and review of balance sheets, income statements, and management reports.
• Candidates should possess skills in accounting operations, such as general ledger management, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and payroll oversight.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control practices relevant to finance and accounting.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software, as well as the ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.
• Candidates should possess strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and guide a finance team.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, CPA, or MBA in Finance) are beneficial.
• Candidates should possess relevant experience in a similar finance or accounting leadership role, preferably within a corporate or industrial environment.
