Finance Head (Mumbai)

We are looking for a qualified Finance Head with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry, to manage financial accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting, audits, and financial controls.Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the hotel.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.- Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and cash flows.- Review daily revenue reports from Rooms, F&B;, Banquets, and other hotel departments.- Ensure accurate accounting of occupancy revenue, F&B; sales, discounts, complimentary services, and other income.- Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.- Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and management reports.- Establish and monitor internal financial controls.- Conduct periodic reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, POS systems, and other operational accounts.- Coordinate with procurement, stores, HR, F&B;, front office, and management teams on financial matters.- Monitor inventory valuation, stock controls, and food/beverage cost.- Identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures.- Support management in financial planning and decision-making.Required Qualifications & Skills- CA Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI.- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.- Prior experience in hotel/hospitality finance will be preferred.- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.- Good knowledge of hotel accounting processes and revenue controls.- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet strict reporting deadlines
