Role Description The Factory Manager role at Rich Valley Dryfruit Pvt Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Sanand. The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations, including production planning, process supervision, and coordination between production, quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams. This role involves ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards, monitoring equipment performance, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing waste. The Factory Manager will manage and mentor factory staff, handle shift scheduling, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate production records and reports. The role also includes collaborating with senior management on continuous improvement initiatives, cost control, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in factory or plant management, preferably in food processing or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong skills in production planning, process optimization, and workflow management to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective operations.
• Knowledge of quality control, food safety, and hygiene standards; ability to implement and monitor SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Competence in people management, including team leadership, training, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to use basic factory management tools and software for reporting, inventory monitoring, and production scheduling.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in manufacturing and willingness to work on-site in Sanand.
