Job Description

POSITION: QA ENGINEER

Location: Remote (final round of interview they want to go for

face to face interview either Chennai/Pune/Gurugram) (whenever needed they want to go for Chennai office)

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Budget: 11-14LPA

Notice: Immediate to 15 days (only need immediate or service notice

candidates)

MANDATORY SKILL SET

• ETL, SQL, AWS glue, Manual testing, test case design, cloud data validation.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in

automation testing, API validation, and ETL testing in cloud

environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, and AWS Glue, along with strong

analytical and problem-solving skills.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or

Engineering (preferred)

• 5-9 years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Strong experience in:
• API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End testing
• Database testing using SQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL testing in cloud environments

(mandatory)

• Experience with AWS Glue pipelines and data validation
• Exposure to serverless architectures (e.g., event-driven systems

like Amazon EventBridge) is preferred

• Experience with automation tools:
• Robot Framework (preferred)
• Selenium WebDriver
• REST Assured (optional)
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual Testing of Cloud ETL Workflows:
• Perform manual testing of ETL processes across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Glue).
• Cloud Data Validation:
• Validate data movement, transformation, and loading between on-premises and cloud data sources/targets.
• Test Case Design for Cloud Environments:
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL jobs running in cloud environments, considering cloud-specific features and limitations.
• Data Integrity and Security Checks:
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during data migration and transformation in cloud workflows.
• Defect Identification and Reporting:
• Identify, document, and track defects or inconsistencies in cloud-based ETL workflows and data pipelines.
• SQL and Cloud Query Proficiency:
• Write and execute SQL queries and use cloud-native query tools (e.g., AWS Athena) for data validation.
• Collaboration with Cloud Teams:
• Work closely with cloud ETL developers, cloud architects, and data engineers to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, test results, and defect logs, specific to cloud ETL workflows.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Monitor cloud ETL jobs and troubleshoot failures or performance issues using cloud monitoring tools

• Experience with serverless testing (AWS Event Bridge)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Notice period must be Immediate to 15 days only
• Candidates with career gaps greater than 9 months will not be

considered
