Engineering Lead / Technical Lead (Full-Stack Web: React + Node/Python)

Lead and mentor a web engineering team to design, build, and operate scalable web applications. Own architecture and engineering standards across frontend (React, JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend APIs (Node.js and/or Python/FastAPI), ensuring secure coding, testing quality, CI/CD automation, and reliable production operations. Partner closely with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Security, and other stakeholders to deliver predictable outcomes in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of web applications.
• Drive architecture and design decisions for scalable and maintainable frontend and backend solutions.
• Establish coding standards, design patterns, reusable components, and engineering best practices.
• Conduct and govern code reviews, technical design reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, scalability concerns, and security vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where they provide clear business or engineering value.
• Guide development of responsive and intuitive web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as React.js.
• Oversee development of backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Python/FastAPI, or equivalent frameworks.
• Ensure effective integration between web applications, APIs, databases, authentication services, and external systems.
• Promote reusable UI components and modular application architecture.
• Ensure applications meet expectations for browser compatibility, accessibility, usability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
