Embedded Software Developer Team lead | 9-15 years | Pune | Urgent

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of software developers.
• Remain hands-on technically this is mainly a technical role, not a purely managerial position.
• Develop and debug Embedded C/C++ software, mainly for ARM Cortex-M / STM32-based controllers.
• Work on microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, communication protocols and motor-control-related systems.
• Develop and integrate embedded software with desktop/application software.
• Work on Linux-based C/C++ solutions.
• Develop desktop, CLI and automation/testing applications using technologies such as Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Participate in software architecture, design, coding and debugging.
• Conduct and lead code reviews and ensure coding best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration and system testing.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development practices and contribute to project planning.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware-software integration and performance issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical/design documentation.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Product and other cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with global teams, including UK-based software teams.
• Take ownership of sub-projects, including technical planning and delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong points: Embedded C, ARM Cortex, STM32, protocols, sensors, Linux, Python, testing, automotive embedded, technical leadership.
