Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Sambalpur. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across power generation and plant facilities. Daily responsibilities include inspecting wiring and components, performing routine maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, and carrying out safe, timely repairs. The role also involves reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, and collaborating with engineers and operations staff to ensure reliable and efficient plant performance. The Electrician must follow all safety procedures and compliance standards while working with tools, machinery, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and practical electrical work skills.

Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills for electrical systems and equipment.

Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues.

Candidates should possess a foundation in electrical engineering principles relevant to power and industrial environments.

Relevant technical diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent in electrical trade; prior experience in power plants or industrial O&M is an advantage.

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics, follow safety protocols, and use electrical tools and testing instruments effectively.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and capacity to work in a team-oriented, on-site environment, including shifts if required. .
