Electrical Design Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in Patna. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, and layout plans. Daily tasks include preparing detailed drawings and specifications, selecting appropriate equipment and materials, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, and clients to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans. The engineer will also support site teams during installation and commissioning, resolve technical issues, and update documentation based on design changes and field feedback.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering and understanding of electricity fundamentals and safety practices.
• Experience with power distribution systems, including load analysis, panel schedules, and protection schemes.
• Proficiency in CAD or similar design software and familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, prepare clear reports, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Prior experience in consultancy or construction projects is an advantage.
