Education Development Manager

An Education Development Manager (often closely aligned with a Learning and Development or Training Manager) designs, implements, and oversees educational programs, training curricula, and professional growth strategies. They bridge strategic goals with practical learning outcomes for students, members, or corporate employees.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Program Design and Curriculum: Build and update educational frameworks, courses, workshops, and digital learning content.
• Needs Analysis: Assess skill gaps, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback to identify training requirements.
• Budget & Resource Management: Oversee departmental or project budgets, procure learning tools, and manage vendor contractor relationships.
• Delivery & Facilitation: Lead or coordinate training sessions, webinars, e-learning modules, and onboarding programs.
• Evaluation & Quality Assurance: Track learner progress, run feedback surveys, and measure program effectiveness through key performance indicators.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Hr teams, department heads, or external sector bodies to align educational offerings with broader organizational goals.
• Team Leadership: Supervise instructional designers, trainers, or administrative staff, providing guidance and performance reviews.
