Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Advertising Sales Executive to drive advertising revenue for the Odisha.News mobile app and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will identify potential advertisers, build long-term relationships, and close advertising deals across display ads, sponsored content, video ads, and integrated digital campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, digital media, and building relationships with businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new advertisers for the Odisha.News app and digital platforms.
• Sell app banner ads, native advertising, sponsored articles, video advertising, and branding campaigns.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, LinkedIn, email outreach, and client meetings.
• Build relationships with advertising agencies, corporate brands, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, real estate companies, automobile dealers, retail businesses, and government agencies.
• Understand client marketing objectives and propose customized advertising solutions.
• Prepare media plans, sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close advertising deals.
• Coordinate with the editorial, creative, and operations teams to ensure timely campaign execution.
• Track campaign performance and maintain long-term relationships with advertisers for repeat business.
• Maintain CRM records and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Stay updated with digital advertising trends and competitor offerings.

Required Skills

• 1–5 years of experience in advertising sales, media sales, digital marketing sales, or B2B sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong presentation and client relationship management abilities.
• Self-driven with a passion for achieving sales targets.
• Familiarity with digital advertising formats and online marketing.
• Experience working with advertising agencies or media organizations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Preferred Candidates

• Experience in media houses, digital news platforms, FM radio, newspapers, television, or advertising agencies.
• Existing network with businesses across Odisha.
• Understanding of digital advertising metrics such as impressions, CTR, CPM, CPC, and audience targeting.
