DevOpsEngineer (Grade II, 5+ years)

We're hiring: DevOps Engineer – e-Governance Platform

COSQ Network Private Limited is building a citizen-facing e-Governance platform on Java Spring Boot and React/Next.js. We need a DevOps Engineer to keep delivery fast, secure and reliable for a system that government departments depend on.

Location: Trivandrum, India (on-site only)

Employment type: Full-time

Experience: 5+ years

CTC: ₹8.3 – 9.9 LPA (based on skills and experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Spring Boot services and Next.js applications (Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions).
• Containerise services with Docker and run them on Kubernetes or equivalent,

including Helm charts and environment promotion.

• Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform or Ansible) across dev, UAT,

staging and production, on-premise or in a government-approved cloud.

• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar) and own incident response and uptime targets.
• Build security into the pipeline: SAST/DAST scans, dependency checks,

secrets management, vulnerability fixes and audit evidence.

• Plan backups, disaster recovery, database maintenance (PostgreSQL) and capacity for peak citizen traffic.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years in DevOps or site reliability roles, with at least 2 years supporting Java Spring Boot applications in production.
• Strong Linux administration, networking, Nginx or HAProxy, and

TLS/certificate handling.

• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and at least one major CI/CD tool.
• Experience with SonarQube, Trivy or OWASP tools and log aggregation.
• Clear documentation habits and willingness to join on-call rotations.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience deploying on MeitY-empanelled clouds, State Data Centres or NIC infrastructure.
• Knowledge of CERT-In audit requirements, VAPT remediation and ISO 27001

practices.

• CKA, AWS, Azure, Terraform Associate or Red Hat certification.
