DevOps Platform Engineer( Only Bangalore candidates)

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Administer and manage R&D DevOps platform tools including GitHub, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, and SonarQube handling configuration, upgrades, user management, and day-to-day operations.
• Runner Infrastructure: Maintain and support self-hosted, Heartstream-provided runner infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance for CI/CD workloads.
• Monitoring & Compliance: Design and implement monitoring solutions for DevOps platform tooling to ensure continued health, uptime, and compliance with security policies and development standards.
• Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all R&D DevOps platform tooling, partnering with Heartstream development teams to troubleshoot issues, fulfill requests, and drive adoption of best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement runner infrastructure improvements and build integrations between DevOps platform tools to improve stability, availability, and enable security and quality best practices across R&D.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability role.
• Hands-on experience administering GitHub (Enterprise/Organizations, GitHub Advanced Security), Azure DevOps, JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Strong CI/CD expertise, including building and maintaining pipelines in GitHub Actions and/or Azure Pipelines.
• Runner/agent infrastructure management experience provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting self-hosted runners or build agents (GitHub Actions runners, Azure DevOps agents).
• Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency with tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Monitoring & observability experience implementing alerts and health checks using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor, or similar.
• Strong scripting & automation skills in one or more of: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Security-minded understanding of DevSecOps practices, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks.
• Networking & infrastructure fundamentals DNS, proxies, firewalls, and certificate management as they relate to self-hosted tooling.
• Strong communication skills — ability to serve as a trusted partner to development teams, translate technical concepts, and document platform processes.
