DevOps Engineer (QE Automation and Enablement)

We are currently hiring for a DevOps Engineer - QE Automation & Enablement role with VLink India Pvt Ltd, supporting our client BlackRock.

Please find the requirements below

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Quality Engineering (QE), Test Automation, or DevOps Automation
• Strong understanding of QE processes and QA workflows, with the ability to assess existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
• Experience with test strategy, test coverage metrics, shift-left testing, and test environment management
• Hands-on experience in QA tool adoption and automation enablement across development and QA teams
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Postman/Newman, RestAssured, JMeter, or similar
• Experience building reusable automation frameworks and test infrastructure that can be adopted across teams
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD practices and pipeline tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates based on test results
• Knowledge of Pipeline as Code, artifact management, deployment strategies, and environment provisioning
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and observability
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining custom Grafana dashboards
• Familiarity with Kibana, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK is an added advantage
• Understanding of application and infrastructure monitoring, including APM, system health, error rates, latency, throughput, and alerting
• Ability to analyze monitoring data and convert telemetry into actionable insights
• Experience setting up and tuning alerts to reduce noise and improve incident visibility
• Strong knowledge of Git and standard software development workflows
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, Go, Python, or similar languages is preferred
• Basic awareness or hands-on experience with AI-based QA and testing tools is preferred
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work closely with QA, Development, DevOps, and Engineering teams
• Strong ability to drive automation adoption, standardization, and QE process improvements across teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech or equivalent
