Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related services.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring, and related services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, configuration, and operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management.
• Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, secrets management, and network security.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and scalability solutions.
• Work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of networking concepts: VPC/VPC networks, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPN.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, GCP Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
