DevOps / Cloud Engineer (AWS)

About us

We build Shiv, a citizen-reporting and governance platform being rolled out with district police and government departments in Maharashtra. Our systems hold evidence and citizen data, so they have to stay up, stay fast and stay secure.

What you will do

• Run our cloud on AWS Mumbai: EC2, RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, CloudFront and IAM.
• Build CI/CD so every release is tested and deployed the same way, with easy rollback.
• Set up monitoring and alerts, so we know about a problem before a police station does.
• Own backups and disaster recovery, and test restores regularly.
• Keep it secure: least-privilege IAM, secrets management, encryption and audit logs.

What we look for

• Experience: 0+ years. Freshers with AWS or Linux projects, or an AWS certification, are welcome.
• Linux, shell scripting and Git.
• AWS basics, Docker, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar).

Good to have

• Terraform or AWS CDK, nginx, pm2, PostgreSQL administration, MeitY / CERT-In security guidelines.

Location and work mode

Mumbai first, then Pune. Hybrid: office and work from home.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
