Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Design Trainee with basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD to join our SPM Automation design team. Candidates who have completed a SolidWorks course and are interested in developing their skills in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design are encouraged to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist senior design engineers in SPM machine design and development.
• Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Learn fixture, jig and machine component design.
• Support the design team in drawing modifications and documentation.
• Coordinate with the production and assembly teams as required.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Candidates who have completed a SolidWorks course will be preferred.
• Understanding of 2D drawings and 3D modelling.
• Interest in mechanical design and SPM automation.
• Willingness to learn and work with senior engineers.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
