Data Scientist / Medical Researcher

We are looking for a Data Scientist / Medical Researcher with strong healthcare and medical research capabilities to support the development and training of AI-powered healthcare solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for researching, validating, structuring, and organizing information from medical books, journals, clinical resources, healthcare datasets, and other reliable sources to create high-quality knowledge and training datasets for AI systems.

The role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare workflows, evidence-based research, and the ability to translate complex medical information into structured and AI-ready data.

Key Responsibilities

• Research medical information from reliable and authoritative sources.
• Study and analyze medical books, journals, publications, clinical guidelines, and healthcare datasets.
• Create structured datasets and knowledge bases for AI/ML training.
• Support development of healthcare AI models through high-quality data curation and annotation.
• Validate medical information for accuracy, consistency, relevance, and completeness.
• Categorize and structure medical knowledge into appropriate healthcare domains.
• Identify inconsistencies, outdated information, or potential gaps in medical datasets.
• Work closely with AI/ML, Product, Engineering, and Healthcare teams.
• Support development of medical taxonomies, terminology, entities, symptoms, conditions, medications, procedures, and healthcare workflows.
• Assist in developing evaluation datasets and test cases for healthcare AI.
• Conduct literature reviews and evidence-based research.
• Maintain proper documentation and references for research material.
• Support responsible AI development by identifying medical safety and quality considerations.
• Continuously monitor developments in healthcare research, medical AI, and clinical knowledge.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in medical research, healthcare data science, biomedical research, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts.
• Experience working with medical literature, healthcare datasets, or clinical information.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Knowledge of data annotation, classification, data cleaning, or dataset preparation.
• Ability to interpret and simplify complex medical information.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts is preferred.
• Experience with healthcare AI, NLP, LLMs, or medical data projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Background

MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related healthcare/technical education.

Working Days: 5 days a week
