Job Description Job Summary We are looking for a Consultant – Forecaster / Data Scientist to support demand forecasting and replenishment activities for retail customers. This is a customer-facing role focused on ongoing production support for a UK-based retailer. The ideal candidate will have experience in demand planning, forecasting models, machine learning, and data analysis, along with the ability to work closely with customers to improve forecast accuracy and optimize planning performance. The role requires solid analytical thinking, hands-on technical capability, and the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvements to forecasting processes. Job Description Key Responsibilities Forecasting & Planning Support Provide daily demand forecasts to customers and ensure forecast outputs are delivered accurately and on time. Run and monitor the DFAI module to support forecasting and replenishment activities. Maintain forecasting configurations, parameters, and business rules to ensure optimal system performance. Analyze forecast performance, identify root causes for variances, and recommend corrective actions. Data Analysis & Model Performance Review forecast accuracy metrics and identify opportunities to improve model performance. Analyze large volumes of retail and supply chain data to identify patterns, trends, and business insights. -
