About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to build and maintain modern data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and be comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, or Cursor to improve engineering productivity. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake. Configure and manage data ingestion using Fivetran. Develop and maintain dbt models, tests, documentation, and deployment workflows. Design data models and semantic layers for analytics consumption. Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data contracts. Use AI-powered coding assistants to automate development and documentation tasks. Review, validate, and deploy AI-generated code. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions. Required Skills Robust experience with Snowflake Hands-on expertise in dbt Cloud Advanced SQL and data modeling skills Experience with Fivetran or similar ELT tools Data pipeline development and analytics engineering Automated testing and data quality frameworks Git-based development and CI/CD concepts Experience working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) Positive to Have Python for automation MCP (Model Context Protocol) exposure Semantic layer implementation Data contracts and data observability API integrations and workflow automation Governance, lineage, and cataloging tools Preferred Candidate Profile 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt. Experience building production-grade ELT pipelines. Strong focus on automation, data quality, and governance. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced workplace
