Data Engineer (1 - 3 years)

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, excellent SQL skills, a solid understanding of data structures, and awareness of modern AI/GenAI concepts.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable solving problems independently and writing code without relying heavily on AI coding assistants.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize data processing solutions.

Familiarity with LLMs, AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, and common GenAI use cases.

Interest in applying AI/GenAI capabilities to data engineering and enterprise solutions.

Preferred Skills

•

Exposure to or hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake is preferred.

•

Familiarity with modern data platforms, cloud-based data engineering, and large-scale data processing would be an added advantage.

•

Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines is desirable.

Qualifications

•

1–3 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical role.

•

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.

•

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

•

Good communication and collaboration skills.

•

Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Are Looking For

We are particularly looking for candidates with strong fundamentals rather than tool-dependent knowledge. Candidates should be comfortable demonstrating their Python, SQL, data structures, and problem-solving skills independently during the interview process.

Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory.
