Job Description – Cybersecurity VAPT Intern

Position: Cybersecurity Intern – VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing)

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra (On-site)

Duration: 3 Months

Stipend: Unpaid Internship

Experience: Freshers / Students

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) of web applications, APIs, networks, and systems.
• Identify, analyze, and document security vulnerabilities.
• Perform security testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, OWASP ZAP, and Kali Linux.
• Assist in web application security testing based on OWASP Top 10.
• Support network reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing activities.
• Prepare technical vulnerability reports with remediation recommendations.
• Work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals on authorized security assessments.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of networking, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and Linux.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Kali Linux and penetration testing tools.
• Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn.

Eligibility

• B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA students or graduates in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Freshers passionate about ethical hacking and offensive security.
• Candidates available for a full-time, on-site internship in Nagpur.
