Customs Clearance Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Clearance Executive to join our team in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and import/export operations, with a focus on sea and air freight. As a Customs Clearance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all customs clearance processes for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Prepare and submit necessary shipping documentation, including Bill of Entry (BOE) filings and other required paperwork.
• Coordinate with customs authorities and other stakeholders to facilitate customs examinations and resolve any issues that may arise during the clearance process.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely updates to relevant parties regarding the status of shipments.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and providing guidance on customs-related matters.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, import and export operations, and customs clearance processes.
• Proficiency in shipping documentation and Bill of Entry (BOE) filing.
• Familiarity with customs examination procedures and Out of Charge (OOC) processes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with customs authorities and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
