Corporate Lawyer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer with expertise in corporate law and a strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance on corporate transactions, regulatory matters, and corporate governance across various jurisdictions. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and commercial service agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Manage legal aspects of company formation, restructuring, and corporate secretarial functions.
• Provide counsel on regulatory requirements, including direct and indirect taxation, and compliance with corporate laws.
• Assist in establishing businesses, including entity setup, licensing, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct due diligence on corporate transactions and advise on strategic decisions involving mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); a Masters degree in Corporate Law or related field is preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s).

• Strong knowledge of corporate law, direct and indirect taxation, and compliance.
• Exceptional legal drafting and negotiation skills.
