Coordinator of Volunteers

Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This position is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support legal and administrative initiatives, ensuring that volunteer activities align with the organization’s needs. Day-to-day tasks include organizing orientation and training sessions, maintaining volunteer records, and providing clear instructions and ongoing guidance to volunteers. The Coordinator will also facilitate communication between volunteers and legal staff, assist in planning community outreach activities, and monitor volunteer performance and engagement. The role involves regular interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that volunteer efforts are well-coordinated and effective.

Qualifications

• Strong volunteer management skills, including experience with Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to work effectively with diverse volunteers and staff.
• Experience or interest in Community Outreach, engagement activities, or public service initiatives.
• Organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site in Lucknow and collaborate in a legal services environment; prior experience in legal, nonprofit, or community organizations is an advantage.
• Proficiency with basic office software and tools; comfort with documentation and reporting.
• Relevant diploma or degree in social work, humanities, law, management, or a related field is preferred.
