Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Content Specialist / Product Research Specialist to support our US-based e-commerce websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching products, organizing product categories, creating accurate product content, and maintaining high-quality product data. This role requires excellent research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large product catalogs.

Key Responsibilities

• Research product information, specifications, features, and manufacturer details from reliable sources.
• Create, update, and maintain product listings for US e-commerce websites.
• Organize products into appropriate categories and subcategories.
• Write clear, accurate, and SEO-friendly product titles, descriptions, and specifications.
• Ensure product information, images, attributes, and specifications are accurate and consistent.
• Perform product data validation and identify missing or duplicate information.
• Work closely with internal teams to maintain product catalog quality and consistency.
• Conduct competitor research and analyze market trends to improve product listings.
• Upload and manage product data using e-commerce platforms or content management systems.
• Maintain documentation and follow content quality standards.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in product research, content management, or e-commerce catalog management.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Basic understanding of SEO for product listings.
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with US e-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of product categorization and taxonomy.
• Basic knowledge of AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a plus.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, English, or any related discipline.
