Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer establishes, enforces, and oversees internal controls to ensure the organization complies with all applicable statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and codes of conduct. Acting as both an internal auditor and a strategic advisor, the Compliance Officer monitors operations, identifies potential compliance risks, coordinates incident investigations, and fosters an organizational culture of integrity and ethical accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Monitoring & Policy Governance

• Track, evaluate, and interpret updates to relevant local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Draft, review, and periodically update company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the employee Code of Conduct.
• Ensure all documented policies reflect current legal requirements and are accessible across all business units.

Risk Assessment & Monitoring

• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to identify operational vulnerabilities, conflicts of interest, and regulatory exposure.
• Implement and execute compliance testing, surveillance programs, and routine audit checks across critical departments.
• Partner with Internal Audit and Risk Management teams to review controls and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
