Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite 1-2 days per week)

Duration: 3-Month Contract with potential extensions

Position Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support ongoing client projects focused on cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization. This role will work directly with clients to execute migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate has experience working in cloud environments, supporting storage and migration initiatives, and documenting technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute migrations from on-premises environments to SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• Support NAS (Network Attached Storage) environments, including storage, synchronization, and archival initiatives.
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft cloud environments.
• Support Active Directory and related infrastructure components.
• Utilize ConnectWise and RMM tools as part of daily operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for migration projects and support activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with SharePoint and migration projects.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Experience supporting Active Directory environments.
• Strong documentation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with external clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience.
• Microsoft cloud certifications such as Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or similar Microsoft certifications.
• Experience supporting NAS storage solutions.

Work Environment

• Primarily onsite in San Antonio, TX.
• Client-facing role requiring regular communication with external stakeholders.
