The company specializes in formwork and shoring engineering, rebar estimation and detailing.

Optimum engineering team prepares formwork layouts, shoring plans, rebar detailing drawings and coordinates with partner engineers for PE stamping.

Role Description

This is a full-time Civil Engineer designer role based in Bilimora & Nandarkha, South Gujarat.

The Civil Engineer will support project teams with design, analysis, and detailing for formwork, shoring, rebar across concrete projects.

Daily work includes preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, calculations, collaborating with team and ensuring alignment with project requirements.

The role involves assisting in planning and coordination across bidding and execution stages, including material takeoffs, documentation, and quality checks on deliverables.

The Civil Engineer will also contribute to improving internal workflows, adopting practical engineering and drafting tools, and communicating clearly with internal and client's team to maintain consistent, accurate outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and practical understanding of Civil Engineering Design principles.
• Experience working as Civil Engineers on building, infrastructure, or industrial projects, with exposure to planning and coordination activities.
• Planning, including scheduling, resource estimation, and coordination with drafting and construction teams.
• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, BricsCAD) and familiarity with structural drafting workflows.
• Understanding of concrete and steel construction methods, formwork and shoring systems, and rebar detailing fundamentals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Experience with or interest in workflow optimization, design standardization, and use of modern engineering and AI-based tools is a plus.
