Role Description The Chartered Accountant at AmpaSkyOne Mall will oversee financial accounting, budgeting, and statutory compliance for mall operations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate general ledger entries. The role will involve coordinating audits, handling tax planning and filings, and ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Chartered Accountant will also support management with financial analysis, cost control, and performance reporting to inform business decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based at AmpaSkyOne Mall in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with operations, leasing, and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized professional body.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, preferably in retail, real estate, or commercial property management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with large data sets and create detailed financial reports.
• Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, GST, and statutory filings relevant to commercial establishments.
• Prior experience coordinating internal and external audits and implementing internal controls.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
