Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliance requirements
• Monitor project-wise costing, budgeting, and cash flow for construction and transportation operations
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and client billing
• Coordinate with banks for working capital, loans, and financial facilities
• Liaise with auditors (statutory, internal, tax) and ensure timely audit closures
• Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with company law, labour law payroll compliance, and other regulatory requirements
• Oversee fleet and material transportation cost tracking and fuel/logistics expense management
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, invoices, and financial records

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory
• Minimum 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, logistics, or manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act provisions
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP/Prime, SAP, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Experience in project costing and job-costing for construction or transport businesses is a strong plus
• Sound understanding of statutory audits, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality in handling financial data

Preferred

• Prior experience working with construction contractors, EPC companies, or fleet/transportation businesses
• Knowledge of e-way bills, fleet expense tracking, and GST on transportation services

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
