Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Jamnagar.

The Chartered

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and overseeing statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings. The role involves budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to support management decisions and improve operational efficiency.

The Chartered

Accountant will also coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate records, timely audits, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification with strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.
• Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis, financial planning, and variance reporting to support business decisions.
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, corporate taxation, and statutory compliance, including regulatory filings and audit support.
• Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with MIS reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, auditors, and external partners.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry is an advantage, but not mandatory.
