Hiring: India Domestic Tax Specialist | Remote | $55–$80/hour

Mercor is seeking experienced India Domestic Tax Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI-generated tax research. If you're a qualified tax professional with deep expertise in Indian direct and indirect taxation , this is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated research on Indian domestic tax law .
• Validate statutory interpretations, case law, and supporting authorities.
• Improve the technical accuracy of tax analyses and legal reasoning.
• Update responses to reflect recent legislative changes and CBDT/GST developments.
• Refine evaluation rubrics to ensure consistent and accurate assessments.

Who Should Apply?

✅ 5+ years of professional experience in Indian taxation.

✅ Chartered Accountant (CA), Advocate, Cost Accountant, or equivalent tax qualification.

✅ Strong expertise in Income-tax Act, GST Laws, CBDT Circulars, and Judicial Precedents .

✅ Experience preparing tax opinions, litigation support, advisory memoranda, assessments, or appeals .

✅ Excellent written communication and analytical skills.

Position Details

Compensation: $55–$80/hour
