Chartered Accountant - Accounts & Taxation

Role & responsibilities

• Corporate Accounting &
• Finalisation: Preparation/review of books of accounts, schedules, provisions, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Ind-AS Accounting &
• Reporting: Practical exposure to Ind-AS standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Audit Co-ordination: Co-ordination with Statutory, Internal, and Tax Auditors, supplying required information/documentation.
• MIS &
• Analysis: Preparation and review of monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Income Tax Compliance &
• Taxation: Computation of taxable income, tax provisions, filing ITRs, tax payments, and related compliances.
• TDS Compliance: TDS computation, payments, quarterly return filing, reconciliation, certificates, and handling TDS-related notices/issues.
• Income Tax Assessments &
• Cases: Handling/coordinating income-tax notices, assessments, appeals, and tax proceedings with consultants.
• ERP/SAP Operations: Working knowledge and day-to-day operations in SAP.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 57 years of post-qualification experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of Income-tax Act, TDS provisions, Companies Act, Ind-AS, and financial accounting principles.
• Core Experience: Strong hands-on experience in Income Tax and TDS, return filing, and handling tax notices/cases.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and reconciliation skills.
• Software Skills: Working knowledge of SAP, along with excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills.
• Communication: Good communication and coordination skills.
• Industry Preference: Experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment with SAP exposure will be an added advantage.
