About LedgersCFO

LedgersCFO provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax and fractional CFO services to US-India cross-border startups. We work with founders building Delaware C-corps with Indian teams, helping them stay compliant on both sides of the border while they focus on growth. Our team works directly with startup founders, so you'll see how real companies are built, funded and run.

What You'll Do

• Handle monthly bookkeeping and closing for US and Indian clients on QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books
• Prepare bank and ledger reconciliations, MIS reports and financial statements
• Support US compliance work: federal and state tax filings, Form 5472/5471, 1099s, Delaware franchise tax and state registrations
• Manage Indian compliances: GST, TDS, payroll and ROC filings
• Assist on FEMA/ODI matters, transfer pricing documentation and audit support
• Work with US payroll platforms like Gusto and QuickBooks Payroll
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to meet deadlines

What We're Looking For

• CA Inter qualified (articleship completed preferred)
• 0 to 5 years of experience in accounting, audit or tax (freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, Indian GST and TDS
• Exposure to US GAAP, US taxation or cross-border work is a strong plus
• Comfortable with Excel and accounting software
• Clear written and spoken English (you'll interact with US-based founders)
• Ownership mindset and willingness to learn quickly
