Role Description The Business Executive role at Mahindra Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Ponda. In this role, the individual will engage with existing and potential customers to promote and explain Mahindra Finance’s products, including vehicle and tractor finance, fixed deposits, and SME loans. The Business Executive will be responsible for generating leads, supporting loan processing activities, verifying customer documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely disbursement of funds. Daily activities include field visits within the assigned territory, maintaining relationships with dealers and partners, and tracking portfolio performance to support collections and customer retention. The role also involves preparing basic reports, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines, and contributing to branch targets while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
• Basic knowledge of lending, vehicle finance, and retail financial products; familiarity with documentation and compliance requirements in financial services.
• Ability to work in a field-oriented role, including regular customer and dealer visits, and comfort with on-site responsibilities in and around Ponda.
• Proficiency in using computers and mobile applications for data entry, reporting, and communication; ability to learn internal systems quickly.
• Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and capability to work toward sales and collection targets in a structured, ethical manner.
• Minimum educational qualification typically at the undergraduate level (e.g., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent); prior experience in NBFCs, banking, or rural finance is an advantage.
• Local language proficiency along with working knowledge of English; familiarity with the Ponda and surrounding market will be beneficial.
