Business Development & Market Research Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a Market Research & Business Development Intern who is comfortable speaking to people, making calls, conducting research, and collecting market insights.

This is not a technical role. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, confidence in speaking with new people, and a genuine interest in understanding markets, businesses, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls and primary research calls with businesses, potential customers, and industry participants.
• Gather market information through structured conversations and surveys.
• Understand customer needs, market gaps, and business challenges.
• Conduct online and secondary market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain research databases, lead lists, and relevant market information.
• Support the team in identifying potential business opportunities and leads.
• Assist in preparing research summaries and presenting key findings.
• Work closely with the business and growth teams on different market research projects.

• Good research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to ask the right questions and collect meaningful information.
• Basic understanding of business, sales, and market research.
• Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and conducting online research.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Background

Candidates from BBA, MBA, B.Com, Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or similar non-technical backgrounds will be preferred.
