Job Description & Responsibilities

Grey Parrot Systems (GPARROT) is hiring a

Senior Business Development Manager

based in India to drive and grow our US Non-IT recruitment business — building client relationships, winning new accounts, and expanding our footprint across all non-IT sectors in the American market.

About Grey Parrot Systems

Grey Parrot Systems (GPARROT) is a women-owned, BEP-certified IT services firm headquartered in Naperville, IL. We partner with mid-market enterprises to deliver AI-first, governance-driven digital transformation. Our team of seasoned CIO/CTO practitioners works side-by-side with clients across retail, logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare — and we're growing fast.

About the Role

This is a senior business development role for a recruitment professional who knows the US staffing market inside and out — specifically non-IT verticals. You will own the full BD cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, and growing client accounts across healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, finance, accounting, retail, and beyond. You will work US business hours from India, operating as a key growth driver for GPARROT's non-IT recruitment division. If you have a proven track record of winning and retaining US non-IT staffing clients and you thrive in a fast-moving, target-driven environment — this role is for you.

Must-Have Skills

7–10 years of business development experience in US staffing and recruitment — non-IT focus

Proven track record of winning new clients and growing accounts in the US non-IT staffing market

Strong understanding of US non-IT hiring across multiple verticals — healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, finance, accounting, retail, or similar

Experience with the full BD cycle — prospecting, cold outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing MSAs and staffing agreements

Familiarity with US staffing models — W2, 1099, C2C, direct hire, and temp-to-perm

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills — comfortable presenting to US C-suite and HR leadership

Comfortable working US business hours (EST / CST / PST) from India

Strong networking skills — LinkedIn, industry events, referrals, and cold outreach

What You'll Do

Identify, prospect, and win new US non-IT client accounts across healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, finance, accounting, retail, and other sectors

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of US non-IT staffing opportunities — tracking activity, forecasting revenue, and hitting monthly targets

Develop and deliver compelling pitches and proposals tailored to each client's hiring needs and business context

Negotiate and close Master Service Agreements (MSAs), staffing contracts, and pricing agreements

Build deep, trusted relationships with US HR leaders, talent acquisition teams, hiring managers, and C-suite stakeholders

Collaborate with GPARROT's recruitment delivery team in India to ensure fast, quality fulfillment on won mandates

Leverage AI tools — LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI outreach tools, CRM automation — to accelerate prospecting and pipeline management

Represent GPARROT's brand and value proposition confidently in the US non-IT staffing market

Monitor US market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to continuously sharpen the BD approach

Work closely with GPARROT's leadership team to define non-IT BD strategy, targets, and go-to-market approach

Tools You'll Use

LinkedIn Sales Navigator · AI Outreach Tools · CRM (Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho) · ATS Platforms · Microsoft 365 · Zoom / Teams

Target Verticals

Healthcare & Nursing · Manufacturing · Logistics & Supply Chain · Finance & Accounting · Retail · Engineering (Non-IT) · Administrative & Clerical · Legal

Nice to Have

Existing relationships with US non-IT hiring managers or HR leaders

Experience working with RPO or MSP clients in the US market

Familiarity with VMS platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, or similar)

Experience using AI tools for BD prospecting, outreach personalization, or pipeline management

Knowledge of US labor laws, hiring regulations, and compliance requirements

MBA or equivalent business degree
