Business Development Manager – Retail Consulting & Services

Experience: 5–10 years (flexible based on relevant experience)

Industry Preference: Retail Consulting, Retail ERP, Retail Technology Services

Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with experience in selling professional services, consulting, and technology-led solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the retail industry, preferably Retail ERP or retail consulting, and a proven ability to acquire clients and develop long-term business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for consulting and technology services.
• Drive end-to-end sales, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiations and deal closure.
• Build relationships with retail brands, retailers, and enterprise clients.
• Understand client business challenges and propose relevant service-based solutions.
• Develop sales pipelines, manage client accounts, and achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal consulting and delivery teams to prepare proposals and presentations.
• Build strategic partnerships and expand business within existing and new accounts
• Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in B2B services sales, consulting sales, or technology services sales.
• Experience selling services rather than physical products or standalone software products.
• Preference for candidates with exposure to Retail ERP, retail consulting, or retail technology services.
• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Experience managing enterprise clients and complex sales cycles.
• Strong commercial acumen and a target-oriented approach.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from retail consulting firms, IT services companies, retail technology service providers, or business consulting organizations with a proven track record of service sales.
