Business Development Manager- Government and Public Sector

Chai Kreative is seeking three Business Development Managers – Government & Public Sector: one each based in Patna, Lucknow and Ranchi.

The role combines government outreach, business development, research, relationship management and client servicing across creative strategy, communications, AI, technology and tourism.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce Chai Kreative to government departments, public sector organisations and institutions.
• Research departments, schemes, programmes, decision-makers and upcoming business opportunities.
• Initiate professional contact, arrange meetings and prepare briefing notes and presentations.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate proposals with the founder and specialist team.
• Build professional networks and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Track opportunities from initial discussion through proposal and client engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings, contacts, next steps and progress.

We seek someone with strong Hindi and English communication, research and presentation skills, initiative, sound judgement and the ability to build credible institutional relationships.

Relevant experience in government-facing business development, institutional sales, public affairs, consulting, communications or client servicing is preferred. Familiarity with the government and public sector landscape in the relevant state is valuable.

Candidates should be based in, or willing to work from Lucknow , with availability for local meetings and travel.
