Role 1: Branch Relationship Officer (BRO)

About the role

You will be the main contact for customers at a Kotak branch. You will build relationships with them, understand their banking needs, and help them grow their savings and use more of the bank s products.

Key responsibilities

• Open new savings and current accounts for walk-in and referred customers
• Build and grow relationships with existing customers at the branch
• Understand customer needs and offer suitable products such as fixed deposits, loans, credit cards, insurance and investments
• Generate recent business through referrals, local outreach and follow-ups
• Help customers with documents, KYC and service requests
• Meet monthly targets for new accounts, deposits and product sales
• Follow the bank s compliance and KYC rules at all times

Role 2: Operations Manager

You will make sure the branch s daily banking operations run smoothly, accurately and as per RBI and bank rules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations: cash handling, account opening, deposits, withdrawals and clearing
• Check and approve transactions and customer documents (KYC)
• Make sure the branch follows RBI guidelines, bank policies and audit requirements
• Manage cash and vault balancing and branch records
• Supervise branch operations staff and keep customer service quality high
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues quickly
• Prepare reports and support internal and external audits

What we re looking for (both roles)

• Graduate in any discipline
• Age below 27 years
• Positive communication in Kannada, plus Hindi and English
• Confident, presentable and customer-friendly
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
• BRO: interest in sales, comfortable meeting new people, target-driven
• Operations Manager: careful, organised, good with numbers and rules; banking experience preferred
