Backend Lead

The Backend Lead will provide progressive and best-in-class solutions to various RESTful services, applications, and data systems using the following technologies and methodologies. Must have current hands-on experience with the following technologies:

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; or a master's degree plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in leading a team.
• Must have: Core Java and JDK 11+, unit and integration testing experience using JUnit, J2EE, Spring Framework and JPA/Hibernate, Maven, Git and Jenkins, and JSON RESTful web service development.
• Experience developing in a cloud environment (Azure preferred).
• Solid understanding of core Java concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in JDBC, RDBMS, Cassandra, Kafka, ActiveMQ, NoSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker.
