Backend Engineer - Fastapi Developer

We're building the software backbone for next-generation drone operations — combining aerial intelligence, real-time telemetry, scalable APIs, and cloud-native systems.

We're looking for backend engineers who love designing high-performance systems and scalable API infrastructure.

About the Role: We are hiring a Backend-Focused Engineer with strong expertise in:

Fast API

Supabase

Postgre SQL

AWS Cloud Infrastructure

Flutter/mobile experience is a plus, but the primary responsibility is building and managing scalable backend systems and integrating APIs efficiently with existing Flutter applications.

What You'll Do

Design and develop high-performance async APIs using Python & Fast API Build scalable backend systems powered by Postgre SQL & Supabase Architect secure authentication, RBAC, multi-tenant data flows, and real-time services Deploy, monitor, and manage backend infrastructure on AWS Work with Web Sockets and real-time telemetry systems for live drone operations Optimize API performance, database queries, and backend reliability Integrate backend APIs with existing Flutter mobile applications Contribute to system architecture, deployment pipelines, and backend scalability

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Python & Fast API Solid experience with Supabase and Postgre SQL Experience designing scalable REST APIs and async backend systems Strong AWS deployment and cloud infrastructure knowledge Experience with authentication systems, API security, and database optimization Understanding of clean architecture, SOLID principles, and scalable backend design Experience handling real-time systems using Web Sockets

Nice to Have

Flutter/Dart experience for API integration support Experience with Docker, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines Multi-tenant Saa S platform experience Geospatial systems or drone-tech exposure AI/ML integration experience
