Job Description Backend Developer (Python/Django & Node.js)

Role: Backend Developer Experience: 3+ Years Type: Full-time

Location: Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore

About the Role

Were looking for a Backend Developer who goes beyond writing functional code someone who thinks

in systems, ships clean APIs, and takes full ownership of the backend. Youll work across Django and

Node.js services, third-party integrations, payment infrastructure, and distributed microservices in a

quick-moving product environment.

We actively embrace AI-assisted development. You should be comfortable using AI tools as a force

multiplier not as a crutch, but as a way to move faster, catch issues earlier, and ship with more

confidence.

What Youll Do

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Django/DRF and/or Node.js
• (Express/NestJS)
• Architect and ship microservices with clear boundaries, async task handling, and fault tolerance

across Python and Node.js services as needed

• Integrate third-party platforms logistics/shipping providers, payment gateways (Stripe,

Razorpay, PayU, or similar), and external SaaS APIsBullMQ/Agenda (Node.js side)for async processing, queues, and scheduled jobs

• Set up and manage background workersCelery + Redis/RabbitMQ (Python side),
• Own database design in PostgreSQL/MongoDB schema design, indexing, query optimization
• Write well-tested code with unit and integration tests (pytest / Jest)
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps on API contracts, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and improve code quality

What Were Looking For
