Role Description

This full-time, on-site Java Developer role is based in Bengaluru and is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.

The Java

Developer will build and enhance microservices-based applications using Java and the Spring Framework, ensuring scalable, secure, and performant systems. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, QA, and DevOps. The role also involves contributing to solution architecture, improving existing codebases, and following best practices in software engineering, version control, and CI/CD.

The Java

Developer will be expected to stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve development processes and product capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong Software Development and Programming skills with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based applications.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (including Spring Boot) for building robust, scalable backend services.
• Experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures, including RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication.
• Knowledge of modern development practices such as unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
