Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs.

Design and work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.

Debug and troubleshoot backend and production issues.

Work with Python for automation, backend development, and AI-related applications.

Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, and other AI coding/agent tools effectively for development, debugging, research, and automation.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate where they can provide practical business value.

Required SkillsBackend Development

Strong understanding of backend development concepts.

Experience with Node.js/Express.js, Python, Django/FastAPI, or similar backend technologies.

REST API development and integration.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization.

Understanding of HTTP, JSON, webhooks, and API security.

Good understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling.

Database

Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Basic understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of database design, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.

Python & AI Tools

Positive working knowledge of Python.

Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
